‘Now That’s What I Call Music! 85′ is iTunes’ top selling album of 2013.

The compilation, which was released in July of this year, features Paramore’s ‘Still Into You’, Taylor Swift’s ’22’, Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’, The 1975’s ‘Chocolate’ and Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’. ‘Blurred Lines’, which features T.I & Pharrell, was also the Number One best selling song on iTunes this year.

iTunes named London Grammar’s debut, ‘If You Wait’, their Album of the Year, to which the band commented: “This is an absolute honour for us, we can’t thank iTunes and our fans enough for their support and this recognition. It’s been an incredible year and this marks its close on a fantastic high, so thank you so much.” iTunes awarded ‘Get Lucky’ with the title of iTunes Song of the Year and they crowned Haim iTunes’ Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

Robin Thicke‘s ‘Blurred Lines’ was named the UK’s biggest-selling single of the year by the Official Charts Company. The song sold over 1.44million copies, getting the edge by a few thousand over ‘Get Lucky’, which had sales of 1.28million. In third place is Avicii’s ‘Wake Me Up, Passenger’s ‘Let Me Go’ is at Number Four and Naughty Boy, featuring up-and-coming star Sam Smith, is at Number Five with ‘La La La’. Last year’s biggest-selling single was Gotye‘s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’, with 1.32million copies sold in the UK.
