Watch Jimmy Fallon and Paul Rudd recreate a Styx video scene-for-scene

The pair donned 80s hair for 'Too Much Time on My Hands'

Jimmy Fallon teamed up with actor Paul Rudd in a recreation of the Styx video ‘Too Much Time on My Hands’.

The pair previewed the video on Fallon’s The Tonight Show on Friday (29 April), when Rudd was on to discuss his cameo in Captain America: Civil War, which was released the same day.

In true 80s fashion, both stars sported big-hair wigs; Fallon with a curly mop to mimic Dennis DeYoung and Rudd in a blonde number like Tommy Shaw, despite his dark beard contrasting boldly.

Fallon has been dropping hints of the Styx song on The Tonight Show all week and on Thursday even persuaded Adam Levine from Maroon 5 to sing the track with him.

Earlier this week Rudd appeared on The Graham Norton Show to discuss his cameo in Captain America and role in 2015’s Ant-Man.

“We shot Ant-Man – but I was alone in a bubble,” said Rudd. “All of a sudden I’m standing around seeing Robert Downey Jr in the Iron Man suit, and seeing Chris Evans. They’re all there. I’ve seen the movies. I felt like I was 10 years old. It was crazy. It was pretty cool!”
