Rough Trade forced to close stall at Festival No.6 due to severe weather

High winds and heavy rain causes problems at the Portmeirion bash

Rough Trade Records were forced to close their stall at Festival No.6 today (September 15) due to severe weather.

Earlier today, they posted a message on their official Twitter page informing festival goers that due to the high winds and heavy rain, which has been causing problems all morning at the Portmeirion weekender, they have been unable to keep the stall open.

They tweeted:

Rough Trade then added: “If there is something you were hoping to buy @festivalnumber6 we should have it all listed on mail order @ #toowinder.”

Festival organisers had earlier tweeted a warning informing punters to check their tents and to make sure they are securely tied down. They also wrote that there may be changes to today’s programme, which sees Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Johnny Marr and These New Puritans play. Manic Street Preachers are set to headline the Welsh festival.
