See super group play two songs uninterrupted before last month's ceremony
Footage of Dave Grohl rehearsing for the Grammy Awards with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, Josh Homme and Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham has been revealed.
The group of musicians united for the closing slot at the event at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles last month (January 26), but their performance was cut short by the closing credits and a commercial break.
Footage of the band rehearsing for the performance has now been revealed online. See above to watch the super group run through Nine Inch Nails’ ‘Copy Of A’ and ‘My God Is The Sun’ by Queens Of The Stone Age now.
Reznor took to Twitter to blast the organisers when their performance was interrupted, writing “Music’s biggest night… to be disrespected. A heartfelt FUCK YOU guys.” The Nine Inch Nails frontman subsequently received an apology from executive producer Ken Ehrlich, who made the decision to cut into the performance.
Reznor has form in airing his grievances over Twitter. Ahead of their performance at Reading Festival last year, he complained that the festival promoter and headliners Biffy Clyro had “fucked us on production”.
