Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC and Muse tipped to headline Glastonbury ahead of tickets going on sale

Fans will be able to purchase tickets for 2015 event on Sunday (October 5)

Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC and Muse are among the bookies’ favourites to headline Glastonbury 2015 in the week that tickets for the event go on sale.

Standard weekend tickets for the event will go on sale at 9am (BST) on Sunday, October 5. Fans wanting to attend the 2015 event need to have registered in advance of tickets going on sale by visiting www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk

No headliners for the event have been confirmed yet but bookmaker William Hill has revealed its latest odds today (September 29), with Fleetwood Mac 4/1 favourite to headline on the Sunday night of this year’s festival. The band have been strongly linked to a Pyramid Stage slot in recent years and have said they will headline if Michael Eavis provides them with wellies.

Additionally, Muse and AC/DC both have odds of 5/1 to play the legendary festival, while those wanting to bet on Kate Bush and Oasis can get odds of 8/1. Futher down the list are U2, The Stone Roses, Coldplay and Noel Gallagher while Adele and Robert Plant remain outside bets with 25/1 odds.

As in previous years, those wishing to attend the festival will need to pay a £50 deposit per person, online at glastonbury.seetickets.com. The full price of a Glastonbury 2015 ticket is £220 + £5 booking fee and festival goers can buy up to six tickets at a time.

Earlier this summer, NME.COM users voted for Oasis as the band they would most like to see headline Glastonbury next year.

This year’s festival saw headline performances from Arcade Fire, Metallica and Kasabian.
