Robin Thicke offers to make ‘Andy Murray remix’ of single ‘Blurred Lines’

US singer says he wants to recreate his now infamous video using "beautiful girls in various tennis outfits"

Robin Thicke has offered Andy Murray the chance to feature on a new version of his hit single ‘Blurred Lines’ following his Wimbledon victory on Sunday (July 7).

Thicke, who recently spent six weeks at Number One with the single, revealed his plan on ITV’s Lorraine programme, stating: “I think I’m going to do a remix with Andy Murray.” Asked how he would recreate ‘Blurred Lines’s infamously NSFW video with a sports twist, Thicke replied: “Beautiful girls in various tennis outfits with rackets strategically placed”.

Last week, Thicke posted extracts of each song from his forthcoming album, also titled ‘Blurred Lines’, online. The album will be released on July 15 and is expected to top the album chart, just as his single of the same name, featuring T.I and Pharrell Williams, did in the single chart. The song is currently both the fastest-selling and second-best-selling song of the year, behind Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’.
