Annual ceremony will be available to watch online

This year’s NME Awards are to be broadcast in full for the first time.

This year you’ll be able to see all the action from the NME Awards, simply by heading to NME.COM. Tune in from 7pm on Wednesday February 27 to follow our liveblog, and watch red carpet interviews, acceptance speeches, live performances and more.

The NME Awards 2013 take place on February 27 at Troxy, London, where new bands, cult heroes and rock legends will be honoured across 22 different categories voted for by readers. Comedian Russell Kane hosts with The Rolling Stones are among the leaders of this year’s nods with nominations in four categories (Best Live Band, Best Book, Music Moment of The Year, Best Music Film), while two never before nominated acts, Tame Impala and Haim, have also bagged four nominations.

MIA is also up for four awards – (Best Track, Best Music Video, Best Dancefloor Anthem, Best Twitter) despite only releasing one single since the last NME Awards. Also up for awards are Arctic Monkeys, David Bowie, The Maccabees, Biffy Clyro, Kasabian, Blur, Foals, Jake Bugg and Alt-J.
