Isle Of Wight and Download festivals: weather forecasts

Rain set to fall on first day of both events

Weather forecasts for the Isle Of Wight Festival and Download festival have come in – and it looks like only a small amount of rain is set to hit both sites.

According to Metcheck, it is set to rain on both sites until early afternoon tomorrow (June 11), the opening day of both events.

Things should then clear up for both the Isle Of Wight Festival, which takes place near Newport on the island, and Donington Park‘s Download.

The weather is expected to remain cloudy for Download into the evening and a touch brighter on the Isle Of Wight. Temperatures should peak at 18 degrees Celsius and 15 degrees C for the respective festivals.

Saturday (12) should be rain-free for the Isle Of Wight Festival, with temperatures peaking at 20 degrees C. It should also be rain-free but a touch cloudier for Download, with temperatures peaking at 18 degrees C.

On Sunday (13) the weather is predicted to mirror Saturday on the Isle Of Wight, while at Download a small amount of rain is expected.
