King Krule, Friends, Bleeding Knees Club to play NME’s CMJ 2011 Showcase

Fidlar also confirmed for new music bash at Brooklyn's Shea Stadium venue

King Krule, above, Friends and Bleeding Knees Club have been confirmed to play NME‘s showcase party at this year’s CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival.

The showcase will take place at Brooklyn‘s 300-capacity Shea Stadium venue on Saturday (October 22). Hotly-tipped newcomers Fidlar complete the line up, alongside a special guest who will open proceedings at 9pm.

CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival runs throughout the week, with over 900 new bands set to play venues across New York with the aim of impressing industry experts and fans alike. Other confirmed acts for the bash include Braids, Exitmusic, Alabama Shakes and ASAP Rocky. More established acts like Odd Future and Zola Jesus are also confirmed to play.
