Scottish festival wins ahead of Latitude and Bestival
RockNess has won the Best Small Festival prize at the Shockwaves NME Awards 2011.
The Scottish eventl has come out on top in the category, for which only UK festivals which have capacities of fewer than 50,000 are eligible.
The other nominated festivals were Latitude, Bestival, Underage Festival and Kendal Calling.
This is the first year there has been a prize awarded for Best Small Festival at the awards.

The NME Awards Big Gig takes place on Friday (25). Godlike Genius Dave Grohl‘s band Foo Fighters headline, with Cee Lo Green, Band Of Horses and No Age also on the bill.
