Shockwaves NME Awards 2011 voting closes tomorrow (Feb 18)

Voting for this year’s Shockwaves NME Awards closes at midday (GMT) tomorrow (February 18).

The ceremony is set to take place at the O2 Academy Brixton on February 23. Head to NME.COM/awards to vote.

The event will be hosted by Angelos Epithemiou. Acts playing live there include PJ Harvey, who will be presented with the Teenage Cancer Trust Outstanding Contribution To Music Award, My Chemical Romance and Foo Fighters.

Dave Grohl is set to pick up the Godlike Genius award at the event, while Kasabian, Foals, Arcade Fire and Arctic Monkeys are among the acts nominated for other honours.
