Shockwaves NME Awards 2010: all the winners

The Shockwaves NME Awards 2010 took place tonight (February 24) – see below for a full list of winners.

Kasabian won two awards – for Best Album (‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum’) and Best Album Artwork. Arctic Monkeys took home one award for Best Live Band.

Muse won the coveted Best British Band award plus the Best Website (for Muse.mu) award.

The ceremony took place at the O2 Academy Brixton in London. Kasabian, Marina And The Diamonds, Lily Allen, The Big Pink, Hole and The Maccabees all performed live.

The Specials, who received the Outstanding Contribution To Music award, also performed live, as did this year’s Godlike Genius Paul Weller.
