Adam Ant has announced details of his first UK tour for 25 years.
The ‘Stand And Deliver’ singer will play 11 shows on the May/June gig run, kicking off in Brighton on May 16.
He has enlisted a backing band named The Good The Mad And The Lovely Posse featuring vocalist Georgina Baillie to help him out on the tour.
Baillie is the granddaughter of actor Andrew Sachs. She achieved fame of sorts in 2008 as the girl in the centre of Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross‘ hugely-publicised radio joke controversy, after the pair phoned Sachs on air and told him Brand had “fucked” Baillie.
Adam Ant will play:
Brighton Concorde 2 (May 16)
Cambridge Junction (17)
Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms (18)
Glasgow O2 ABC (23)
Sheffield O2 Academy (24)
London IndigO2 (26)
Liverpool O2 Academy (28)
Newcastle O2 Academy (29)
Birmingham O2 Academy (June 1)
