Ou Est Le Swimming Pool to release debut album following singer’s death

'The Golden Year' will be out on October 3

Ou Est Le Swimming Pool have confirmed they will still release their debut album in October, following singer Charles Haddon’s death earlier this month.

Haddon died at the Pukkelpop festival in Belgium on August 20, after jumping from a telecommunications mast he had climbed backstage in an apparent suicide.

The band have said they will release their album, ‘The Golden Year’, on October 3. A single, ‘The Key’, is out on October 10.

Band members Joe Hutchinson and Caan Capan said that they had consulted the late singer’s family and it was their wish that the album should be released.
