Gwyneth Paltrow has said that although she’s had “a lot” of record deal offers, she’s yet to sign one.
It had been rumoured that the actress was on the verge of signing a record deal with the Atlantic label. Now she’s said that she hasn’t inked a deal yet, but “would love” to release an album, reports Hollywoodreporter.com.
After saying she’d had “a lot of offers,” she explained: “I really would love to make a record but I don’t know exactly how you do that so it’s not cheesy. I have to just figure out what I do want.”
She added: “I am having fun with it, though, even if it’s kind of giving me a mid-life crisis because I don’t know who I am anymore.”
Paltrow is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, and said that she had his backing to make an album. “I trust him so much,” she said. “If I do it, he just wants it to be really good.”
Meanwhile, the actress is also set to make a further appearance in Glee some time soon. She’s already appeared on the musical TV show twice.
