Singer 'fine' after incident

Susan Boyle‘s West Lothian home has been broken into.

The singer disturbed the intruder in Blackburn, near Edinburgh, last night (January 26) after she returned home from London following a session for Simon Cowell’s forthcoming Haiti earthquake appeal single.

The intruder ran outside when she entered the house, reports BBC News.

Boyle was said to be “very distressed” by the incident but was now “fine”. A teenager was arrested following the disturbance but has since been released.

Lothian and Borders Police said they were looking to speak with anyone who could assist with investigations into the incident.

The intruder was described as white, between 15 and 16 years old, between 5ft 4in and 5ft 8in tall and with a slim build.
