London club Matter shuts its doors ‘for the summer’

Speculation mounts that the Dome-based club is closed for good

London club matter, part of the O2 Arena complex at the old Millennium Dome in Greenwich, is set to close.

Online rumours, including Twitter posts from alleged employees, have suggested that the venue has closed its doors for good.

A collection of the claims appeared on blog We Are Not A Rock Band.

The venue, which opened in 2008, is the brainchild of Fabric founders Cameron Leslie and Keith Reilly.

Although matter‘s long-term fate is yet to be confirmed, its official site confirmed it is shutting its doors for the time being.

The venue’s administration have indicated that they will consider reopening the venue over the next few months.
