New London charity gig announced

The gig will raise money for the Pete Stevens Music Project

A gig to mark the birthday of the late London musician Pete Stevens has been announced, with all money raised set to go to the charity fund set up after his death.

Mexico Indigo, The Cardboard Jon Idea, JS Rafaeli and The Klouds will play live at The Fly venue in London on February 1.

Also playing live will be Kris Ilic and Mat Croft of The Robot Blues, the band Stevens used to front.

Tickets will cost £5 on the door, with the event running from 6pm-10pm (GMT)

All funds raised will go to the Pete Stevens Music Project which helps increase the music provision at Daniel House, a pupil referral unit for secondary pupils in Hackney.

Stevens passed away in 2007 after a battle with bowel cancer.
