The Seeds‘ lead singer Sky Saxon has died.
According to his publicist, Saxon passed away yesterday (June 25), AP reports.
The singer, who was born in 1946, fell ill last week and was taken to hospital in Austin, Texas.

The Seeds had a hit in 1967 with ‘Pushin’ Too Hard’. In 2008 he collaborated with The Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan, before he recently moved to Texas, and was playing with a new band called Shapes Have Fangs.
