Police use Taser guns to break up the fight

Marion ‘Suge’ Knight was treated at an Arizona hospital for injuries sustained during a fight at a Scottsdale hotel, police said today (February 16).

The former Death Row Records boss was reportedly involved in a brawl at the W Hotel near Phoenix, which began with “heated words in the VIP area”, according to police.

The officers were called to the scene by hotel security when the fight escalated, and saw a man punch Knight twice in the head.

They were forced to use Taser stun guns to break up the brawl arrested two men, identified as Robert Carnes and Leon Anderson. They were later charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct, reports Reuters.

Knight was reportedly treated for facial injuries but details of his condition have not yet been released.

Knight, who is credited with helping launch the careers of such notable rappers as Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg, has had many troubles in recent years including filing for bankruptcy and facing drug and battery charges.
