NME Radio launches ‘Skins’ Radio to kick off third season

Tune in for sessions, shows and a special party to celebrate the new series

NME Radio has joined forces with E4‘s ‘Skins’ to bring you ‘Skins’ Radio.

A new two-hour show will kick off on Monday (January 12), and runs all week from 7pm to 9pm (GMT) featuring a mix of live sessions, new music and on-set gossip from the new show.

Bands scheduled to perform include Little Death, Young Fathers, Unicorn Kid, Filthy Dukes, Duologue, You Love Her Coz She’s Dead, Mr Beasley, Dead Kids and La Roux.

‘Skins’ Radio will feature two new presenters. They are James Theaker, who is a seasoned ‘Skins’ DJ, having played at all the parties for NME Radio.

Both will take part in the NME Radio Forum tomorrow (January 6) afternoon from 4pm.

Meanwhile NME Radio will be throwing a free ‘Skins’ party to celebrate the launch of the new series.

The bash will take place at a secret location on Tuesday, January 20, and will feature performances from Unicorn Kid, You Love Her Coz She’s Dead, Dead Kids and Filthy Dukes.

Club Propaganda DJs will look after the second room, and the third room will feature a DIY disco to which you can bring your own MP3 player and plug in.

There will also be an exclusive screening of the first episode of the new series. Details of how to get tickets for this free party will be announced on NME Radio and NME.COM on this Friday (January 9).
