Future accuses ex-fiancé Ciara of denying him access to their son

Rapper claims his former partner has "control problems"

Future has claimed that his former partner Ciara is refusing him access to their son, also named Future.

The rapper, real name Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, separated from Ciara in 2014 amid reports of his alleged infidelity. Future Jr, Ciara’s first child and Future’s fourth, was born in May of that year.

In a series of tweets sent overnight, Future claims that since splitting from his partner he has barely seen his son and accused Ciara of having “control problems”. Stating that he must obtain permission from lawyers to see his child, Future wrote: “This bitch got control problems. I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture… the fuckery for 15k a month.”

“I jus want babyfuture that’s all,” he added. “I been silent for a year & a half… I ran outta patience.”

Ciara released her latest album ‘Jackie’ in 2015. The record featured collaborations with Dr Luke, Polow Da Don, and The Underdogs, as well as guest spots from Pitbull and long-time Ciara cohort Missy Elliott. The single ‘I Bet’ caused a bit of a stir when Usher producer Jermaine Dupri claimed it was “a complete rip-off” of ‘U Got It Bad’.

Meanwhile, Future had a productive 2015 with the release of two mixtapes, a solo album and joint album with Drake, ‘What A Time To Be Alive’. Ending his Twitter messages last night he suggested that problems with his son will inspire more music.
