Rapper C-MURDER has had his application for bail turned down when a judge revoked his $2million bond after hearing he sneaked a mobile phone into jail and used it to get friends to harass witnesses.

Prosecutors told the presiding judge that C-Murder, real name Corey Miller and brother of No Limits Records boss Master P, smuggled the phone into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna, Louisiana and used it to call friends to have them either “harm or influence witnesses” in his murder trial.

In March, C Murder pleaded not guilty to killing 16-year-old Steve Thomas with a single fatal shot to the chest following a rap contest in Harvey, Louisiana on January 12.

Authorities say there are many witnesses to the crime, but they’ve been reluctant to come forward because of C-Murder’s reputation as a ‘gangsta rapper’.

Two deputies at Jefferson Prison have been fired because they were linked to the smuggled phone.
