Galifianakis: "When [Trump] is elected President and Kid Rock becomes Secretary of State, are you going to move to Canada?"
Hillary Clinton has appeared in a new interview with actor Zach Galifianakis for Funny Or Die’s resurrected ‘Between Two Ferns’ sketch.
Galifianakis has hosted the irreverent interview series for a number of years, and even welcomed President Barack Obama onto the set – which contains the eponymous ferns – back in March 2014 for an interview that has been viewed over 15 million times on YouTube.
After nearly two years of inactivity, ‘Between Two Fans’ was resurrected earlier today as Galifianakis interviewed the Democratic candidate for the presidency, Hillary Clinton. The segment, which poked fun at both Clinton and her Republican opponent Donald Trump, sees the pair joust over a number of issues.
Introduced by a caption as “Hillary Clinton [Had pneumonia]” – referencing the former Secretary of State’s recent health problems – Galifianakis asked if she was “excited to be the first girl President.”
The two also spoke about Clinton’s plans should she lose the election to Trump on November 8 (“So you’re going to lead the Civil War?” enquired Galifianakis), what Trump will wear to the Presidential debates, and if Chelsea Clinton ever consults “her friend” Ivanka Trump about “boys who might have crushes on her… like her dad?”
