Hillary Clinton’s running mate Tim Kaine reveals what his rap name would be

US senator pays homage to Lil Wayne

Tim Kaine, US Senator and Hillary Clinton’s running mate, has announced what his rap name would be.

Kaine is the junior United States Senator for Virginia and is running on the Democrats bill to be Vice President.

He recently called in to North Carolina radio station Power 98 FM, appearing on air after the station played Chance The Rapper‘s collaboration with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, ‘No Problem’.

After the song finished, Kaine quipped: “They call me Lil Kaine not Lil Wayne”. Hear that moment beneath.

He also went on to reveal that he listens to the Isley Brothers and Gnarls Barkley while on the campaign trail. Kaine has previously spoken on his love for David Bowie, Alabama Shakes and the Replacements.

It recently emerged that Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta has received emails about UFOs from ex-Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge.
