V Festival’s shuttle bus service from Chelmsford station will run again this year

Tickets will be available for £5 per return trip

Fans attending the Essex leg of V Festival this weekend will be able to take advantage of the usual shuttle bus service between Chelmsford train station and the event’s Hylands Park site.

The service will run from the station to V Festival between 8.30am and 7pm on Friday (August 19). On Saturday (August 20) and Sunday (August 21), it will run from the station to V Festival between 9.30am and 7pm, and from V Festival back to the station between 7pm and 1pm.

On Monday (August 22), it will run from V Festival back to the station between 6am and midday. A return ticket for the shuttle bus service will cost £5, the Essex Chronicle reports.

Rihanna, Sia, Bastille, Stormzy, Years & Years, Kaiser Chiefs, Craig David’s TS5, David Guetta, All Saints and Faithless are among the acts performing at V Festival in both Essex and Staffordshire this weekend.

V’s organisers have today (August 18) dismissed rumours that Justin Bieber has pulled out of his headline sets in the wake of his exit from Instagram earlier this week, saying: “Disgruntled fans started a rumour on Twitter, but it is complete nonsense. It is really annoying that it has come to the surface so close to the festival. We can guarantee that he is coming and it is going to be brilliant.”
