DJ EZ to play 24-hour non-stop charity set for Cancer Research UK

UK garage legend to attempt record-breaking set at end of February

DJ EZ has announced that he will be attempting a 24-hour DJ set to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The KISS FM DJ and UK garage ambassador has confirmed that he will be performing the marathon challenge from Saturday 27 February to Sunday 28 February, with 100% of all the donations raised going straight to the Cancer-fighting charity.

The DJ has been at the forefront of UK garage for the last twenty years, giving the genre exposure in it’s ’90s heyday, before being an integral and respected part of it’s resurgence and influence in recent years. He has remained dedicated to his craft and holds one of the longest running radio residencies ever in the UK.

EZ – real name Otis Roberts – has reportedly remained a non-smoking teetotal DJ, known for his extensive, technical DJ sets. The event – running from 6pm on Saturday 27 – Sunday 28 February will be streamed live via his website
