'Turn Down For What' producer has worked with the likes of Major Lazer and MØ
French electronic producer DJ Snake has been involved in a car accident, his management has stated.
A statement says that the Grammy-nominated DJ (real name William Grigahcine) was driving with the manager of fellow French house producer Tchami when their vehicle was involved in an unspecified incident. The extent of the pairs’ injuries have not been revealed.
The statement adds that due to “doctor’s orders” they “will not be able to travel until further notice in order to recover properly”.
The full statement, posted on both DJ Snake and Tchami’s social media account, reads: “Today, Snake and Tchami’s manager was driving the two of them when they were involved in a car accident. Due to injuries sustained as well as their doctor’s orders, they will not be able to travel until further notice in order to recover properly.”
Major Lazer are among several artists to send their best wishes to DJ Snake, who collaborated with the outfit and MØ for single ‘Lean On’. Diplo and co wrote on Twitter: “OUR THOUGHTS & PRAYERS WITH OUR BROTHER DJ SNAKE”.
