Skepta, FKA Twigs, Mark Ronson and Jamie xx lead MOBO Awards 2015 nominations

Wiley, Krept & Konan, JME, Lianne La Havas also among nominations

The nominations have been announced for this year’s MOBO Awards.

The MOBO Awards 2015 take place at Leeds’ First Direct Arena on 4 November and will be broadcast live on ITV2. The ceremony celebrates the best in urban music and music of black origin.

Hip-hop duo Krept & Konan lead the nominations, listed in four categories (Best Male, Best Hip Hop, Best Album and Best Song) with grime MC JME also picking up four nominations (Best Male, Best Album, Best Song and Best Grime).

Meanwhile, artists including Lianne La Havas, Mark Ronson, Skepta, FKA Twigs, Wiley, Stormzy, Lethal Bizzle and Jamie xx also feature in the nominations.

Mark Ronson’s chart-topping collaboration with Bruno Mars, ‘Uptown Funk’, has landed two nominations: for Best Male and Best Song.
