Isle Of Wight Festival announces new stage headlined by Black Rivers and Kid Wave

Festival also names presenters for its TV coverage on Sky Arts

Isle Of Wight Festival has announced a new stage for the event, to be headlined by Black Rivers, Dave McCabe And The Ramifications and Kid Wave.

The Jack Rocks stage, run by Jack Daniel’s and the This Feeling club, will also star Eugene McGuinness, Findlay, Trampolene, Hyena, Little Barrie, Dexters and The Sundowners.

Former Zutons singer McCabe’s new band release their debut album ‘Church Of Miami’ on September 4, which McCabe says is inspired by Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode and The Human League.

Isle Of Wight Festival has also named Edith Bowman and Danny Wallace as the hosts of its coverage on Sky Arts over the weekend.

The festival, which runs from June 12 to 14, is headlined by The Prodigy, Blur and Fleetwood Mac, who are making their British festival debut on the event’s final night. Also appearing over the weekend are The Black Keys, Pharrell Williams, The Charlatans, Courteeners, First Aid Kit, James Bay, Ash, Foxes and The View.

Groove Armada, who headline the Big Top Tent second stage, announced their new album ‘Little Black Book’ earlier this week (May 12), while Blur today announced they will warm up for the festival with a show at the 300-capacity Newhampton Arts Centre in Wolverhampton on June 6.
