Club NME Coventry to launch in venue run by The Enemy’s Tom Clarke

Club night will run on the first Friday of every month at The Empire

NME will launch Club NME Coventry next month.

The clubnight will run monthly at The Empire, a brand new venue run by The Enemy‘s Tom Clarke, on the first Friday of every month.

The first night takes place on October 2, with live performances from Fickle Friends and Haus, followed by a DJ set.

Clarke, who has previously played Club NME in London with his band, said of the news, “A while ago I walked into the most amazing disused space and knew instantly that we had to turn it into a venue.”

“Together with some great people, I’m confident that what we’ve built is a real asset to the city and we look forward to putting on some great nights, starting with Club NME!”

Tickets for the first Club NME Coventry are £5 and available now.

Club NME also takes place every Friday at Koko in Camden, north London. This week’s bill includes Hidden Charms, Decoy Jet, DJ Amazonica and DJ Alana B Devotion. Find more information here.
