Mumford & Sons and Ellie Goulding join Apple Music Festival bill

Carrie Underwood will also headline one night of London event

Headliners Mumford and Sons and Ellie Goulding have joined the line-up for this year’s Apple Music Festival in London.

They join previously announced artists including One Direction, Disclosure, Pharrell Williams, Florence + The Machine and The Weeknd on the line-up for the festival, which runs over 10 nights from September 19-28 at the Roundhouse in Camden.

Mumford & Sons will perform on September 27 with support from Jack Garratt. Ellie Goulding, meanwhile, will open the festival on September 19. US country singer Carrie Underwood has also joined the festival bill and will headline on September 21.


Last week The Weeknd, The Chemical Brothers and Take That were added to the line-up for the event.

Leon Bridges and James Bay also play the inaugural Apple event, which is a relaunched version of its long-running iTunes Festival.

The original iTunes Festival launched in 2007, previously hosting shows from the likes of Adele, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake, Kings Of Leon, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Muse, Paul McCartney and more.
