The song is set to appear on the band’s forthcoming second album ‘Gone By The Dawn’, which is due out September 11 via Hardly Art. According to the press release, the LP was written “as one member was recovering from a serious breakup and another was deep in one. The lyrics reflect it, and the entire album is dripping with sadness, pain, and introspection”. It follows their 2013 debut LP, ‘Dreams in the Rat House’.

Shannon And The Clams recently released a video for another ‘Gone By The Dawn’ cut, ‘Point of Being Right’. Directed by the band’s guitarist-vocalist Cody Blanchard, the clip features the trio – Cody, singer-bassist Shannon Shaw and drummer Nate Mayhem – giving the track their best karaoke-parlour treatment.
