Kit Harington joins Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

The Game of Thrones actor is embracing his dark side

Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington has joined Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare but not as the hero we’ve come to know him for.

Kit Harington is embracing his dark side as “the face of the enemy” in Infinite Warfare. Players will go face-to-face with Harington in Infinite Warfare as they become Captain Reyes, leader of one of Earth’s last warships.

The ship called ‘the Retribution’ will go into battle against a vicious enemy threatening all of humanity. Guy Ritchie is on board as creative advisor with studio head Dave Stohl describing the Lock Stock and Two Barrells director as a “friend of the franchise”.

According to Digital Spy, Infinity Ward’s narrative director Taylor Kurosaki announced today: “Kit is an amazing talent, and the consummate pro.”

“Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces, and Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front. We can’t wait for fans to see Kit play an entirely different kind of character,” he said.

Stohl added, “It meant a lot to us to develop the role into everything it could be. We’re excited about the performance Kit delivered and can’t wait to get it out to the public. We’re committed to delivering a compelling story with rich character depth, and this was a special opportunity to add to our fantastic cast.”

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be released on November 4.
