Iggy Pop leads latest additions to ATP Iceland festival line-up

Drive Like Jehu, Clipping and Ought will also perform at event in July

Iggy Pop and Drive Like Jehu are among the latest additions to the ATP Iceland festival.

Belle & Sebastian (pictured right) will headline the event, which takes place at the former NATO base in Keflavík, which is now called Ásbrú, between July 2 and 4. Iggy Pop and Drive Like Jehu are joined by fellow new additions The Bug, Ought (pictured right) and Clipping.

Speaking about the new additions to his festival, ATP founder Barry Hogan said: ”The legendary Iggy Pop, coupled with the return of ATP favourites Drive Like Jehu and all the amazing stuff already announced surely makes the pilgrimage to Iceland a no brainer.”

The new additions join previously confirmed artists such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Run The Jewels, Mudhoney, Deafheaven, Iceage, Loop, Chelsea Wolfe, The Field, Vision Fortune and Younghusband on the line-up.

Portishead and Interpol headlined ATP Iceland 2014. Celebrating its second year, the festival took place between July 10 and 12.

ATP’s regular UK weekender events came to a close in 2013 with two final End Of An Era events.
