Mercury Prize-nominated Villagers announce UK tour and ticket details

Band set to hit the road in October after festivals and 'tunnel' gigs

Villagers have announced details of a UK tour.

The band, who who were nominated for the 2010 Barclaycard Mercury Prize last week (July 20) for debut album ‘Becoming A Jackal’, will hit the road in October.

The full tour will follow shows in the tunnels under the Old Vic theatre in London on August 4 and 5, as well playing the Reading And Leeds Festivals (August 27-29).
