Atlanta’s Waka Flocka Flame and Future have teamed-up under the name Future Flocka to release ‘Rotation’.

Waka has been in the news this week after opting to cancel a gig at the University of Oklahoma following the emergence of a video showing members of a campus fraternity singing a racist chant. The rapper was scheduled to perform for the university’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity next month but has pulled out after seeing the clip, which shows members singing along to a song which uses the N-word to describe African-American people.

“There will never be a ni**** in SAE. You can hang him from a tree, but he can never sign with me,” they sang to the tune of ‘If You’re Happy and You Know It’, asserting that black students would not be allowed to join the fraternity.

Waka released a statement via Instagram explaining his decision, telling followers he was “disgusted and disappointed” by the incident and that “racism is something I will not tolerate”. The 28-year-old ‘Hard in the Paint’ performer had partied with members of the fraternity last year.
