Walk It Talk It: Watch Migos and Drake take it back to the 70s for new video

It's a big throwback....

Migos and Drake have released the music video for ‘Walk It Talk It’, and it’s channelling some seriously strong 1970s vibes.

The inspired clip opens with an appearance from Jamie Foxx as Ron Delirious, the host of typically retro TV show Culture Ride, before the three-piece begin their performance of the ‘Culture II’ track while wearing afro wigs.

After making an appearance on the studio version of the track, the video also sees a tongue-in-cheek appearance from Drake, sporting a curly wig and some seriously strong white trousers.

The track is the latest single to be taken from Culture II, which was released in January this year to a glowing four star review from NME.

Our official verdict stated: “This follow-up to 2017’s rapturously received ‘Culture’ sees them cement their reputation for musical innovation, sly humour and louche delivery as they develop the short, triplet rhymes that have become their signature sound. The album is 24 tracks long, indicating the seemingly endless supplies of inspiration that the group appear to have harnessed since 2015’s Yung Rich Nation stamped their passports as superstars-in-waiting.

“The basic template is often rooted in the Atlanta sound – stuttering snares, austere production and percussive vocal onomatopoeia – which enables them to deviate intro experimentation while remaining accessible. Not only that, but the guestlist is positively stuffed with stars: Drake, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj and Gucci Mane himself all lend a hand.”
