The band make their late-night debut on the chat show
Warpaint made their late night US TV debut last night, performing ‘Love Is To Die’ on Conan.
The band, who released their second album earlier this year, played the lead single from the record at the end of last night’s episode (March 10). Scroll down to watch the performance in full.
Earlier this year Warpaint confirmed that they will perform at Glastonbury festival in June. The band made the announcement during an appearance on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show in February. Asked by their host if they will be at the Worthy Farm festival, the group replied “yes!” in unison and began to talk about their experiences the last time they performed there in 2011.
Warpaint singer/guitarist Emily Kokal recently told NME the band operates as “a democracy of dictators”. She said: “There’s a lot of give and take. That’s a part of our process as a band, that’s inside the music. If we didn’t have that tension I don’t think the music would be that good.”
