Warpaint reveal new song ‘Love Is To Die’ and second album details – listen

US band confirm details of self-titled second album plus 2014 tour dates

Warpaint have announced details of their forthcoming self-titled second album.

The US band will release ‘Warpaint’, the follow up to 2010 album ‘The Fool’, on January 20 through Rough Trade Records. ‘Love Is To Die’, the first song to be taken from the album can be streamed below now. The album is self-produced along with producer Flood (PJ Harvey, Sigur Ros), and mixed by Flood and Nigel Godrich (Radiohead).

Warpaint were joined by director Chris Cunningham who has partnered with the band for many of the album visuals, including the cover, which you can see above. Cunningham has spent the past two years filming and photographing the band as they made ‘Warpaint’. The tracklisting for ‘Warpaint’ can be seen below.

The band are currently in the middle of a run of of four UK shows, performing in Glasgow, Manchester and London between October 28-30. New tour dates for 2014 have also been announced today with the band set to return to Britain in January for gigs in Brighton, Oxford, Leeds, Liverpool and Bristol.
