Warpaint singer and guitarist Theresa Wayman has announced her debut solo album.
The record, titled ‘LoveLaws’, will be released on May 18 under Wayman’s new moniker TT.
It’s been preceded by lead single ‘Love Leaks’. Scroll below to listen to that track.
According to a press release, the album addresses themes of motherhood, unconditional love, the ups and downs of romance, loneliness and life as a touring musician.
Wayman describes the record as “down tempo, pretty sexy, and a bit emotional”.
She adds: “I’m a romantic person in a world where a relationship is difficult. But I also needed to be on my own and not force having a relationship.”
Her Warpaint bandmates play on the record, which Wayman co-produced with her brother Ivan.
Additional production contributions come from Dan Carey (Kate Tempest, Bat For Lashes) and Money Mark (Beastie Boys).

Warpaint will also play London’s All Points East Festival this May.
Warpaint’s last album ‘Heads Up’ was released in 2016 and included the lead single ‘New Song’.
