Brandon Johnson is a wanted man
An arrest warrant has reportedly been issued for Demi Lovato’s drug dealer, Brandon Johnson.
Johnson will not be arrested for selling the “aftermarket” pills that allegedly caused Lovato’s reported near-fatal overdose in July – the action of which he openly admitted on camera – because an overdose is categorised as a ‘medical emergency’.
The warrant therefore relates only to his June arrest for drugs possession and DUI.
Meanwhile, Lovato’s mother has spoken out for the first time about her daughter’s apparent overdose.
Dianna de la Garza told Newsmax TV: “It’s still a really difficult thing to talk about.
“I literally start to shake a little bit when I start to remember what happened that day. I didn’t know what to say. It was just something that I never, ever expected to hear, as a parent, about any of my kids.”
When De La Garza asked Lovato’s assistant if her daughter was OK upon first hearing about the incident, she was told that her daughter was conscious but not speaking.
“I knew at that point that we were in trouble,” De La Garza said.
Last month, Lovato’s sister hailed the singer’s medical team on her birthday following successful treatment for the suspected overdose.
Madison De La Garza marked the singer’s 26th birthday by sharing an old photo of the pair together.
“Today could have been one of the worst days of my life,” De La Garza captioned the photo.
