Watch Alice Glass’ new lo-fi video for ‘Forgiveness’

The track featured on her self-titled debut solo EP, released last year

Alice Glass has shared a new, lo-fi video for her track ‘Forgiveness’.

The song was one of six to feature on the former Crystal Castles singer’s self-titled debut solo EP, which was released last summer.

In the new clip, Glass writes the lyrics to the song in lipstick across various mirrors, before smudging the words at the end. Those scenes are interspersed with footage of her playing live with her band, and being mostly submerged in a pool of water. Watch the Lindsey Mann-directed video below.

Last year, the singer was served with a courts summons from her former bandmate Ethan Kath by someone pretending to be a fan of hers.

Glass had previously issued a statement accusing Kath of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. Kath denied all of the allegations, saying the singer was “lying” and “still bitter about their break-up”. He was reported to have filed a defamation lawsuit against her, claiming Crystal Castles had lost $300,000 in profits.

Following a show in Chicago in November, Glass posted a photo on Twitter of a judicial summons naming her as a defendant. The document confirmed she was “being sued by plaintiff Claudio Palmieri aka Ethan Kath”. “Just got served after my show in Chicago by someone pretending to be a fan,” she wrote. “lol see you in court asshole.”
