Watch Anne-Marie and Ed Sheeran play an acoustic version of ‘2002’ backstage

Pair are currently touring on Sheeran's 'Divide' jaunt

Ed Sheeran and Anne-Marie have shared a live acoustic version of the pair performing ‘2002’ backstage.

The pair wrote the song together and Anne-Marie released the track as a single in April, which reached Number Three in the UK singles chart. Take a look at their live rendition below.

“Yo I love this mug. It feels good singing our song, together. Although I think he sings it better.” says Anne-Marie in the clip.

She is currently supporting Sheeran on his 46-date ‘Divide’ tour across Europe this summer.

‘2002’ also appeared on Anne-Marie’s debut album ‘Speak Your Mind’.

Speaking to NME last year, the singer said the record was inspired by “heartbreak”, and discussed her experiences of working with Sheeran.

“We’ve been friends for nearly 10 years now, so we’ve always wanted to work with each other, and obviously he’s always out of the country and I’m always out of the country,” she said. “So one time we were both in London and we just got in the studio and we did this  song. We want work with each other more definitely – it’s just the time.”

It might not be the only acoustic duet that Sheeran has in the works. Earlier this week Katie Price expressed her desire to collaborate with the singer-songwriter on a planned new album in aid of the British Lung Foundation.
