Watch Brian Blessed rap Stormzy’s ‘Big For Your Boots’ while dressed as Father Christmas

It's the collaboration we've all been waiting for

Brian Blessed raps Stormzy‘s ‘Big For Your Boots’ while dressed as Father Christmas in a bizarre new video.

Clad in that iconic red and white suit, the boomy-voiced actor states: “To all those on the naughty list, my man Stormzy has given me some top advice,” before belting out a rendition of Stormzy’s ‘Gang Signs And Prayer’ hit ‘Big For Your Boots’.

“‘You’re getting way too big for your boots / You’re never too big for the boot / I’ve got the big size twelves on my feet / Your face ain’t big for my boot’,” Blessed raps, before continuing: “If you want any presents this year, ‘clown, stand down’, and be nice.”

The clip is taken from Santa Blessed‘s Christmas Sleighlist, which is set to air Sunday at 11am on Magic, with repeats on Magic and 4Music all the way through to December 25.

Brian Blessed has proven his unlikely frontman credentials already this week, after performing a booming Kasabian cover during a recent radio interview.

The famously effusive thespian was appearing on Radio X’s drivetime show with host Johnny Vaughan when he obliged a request to read out the lyrics to Kasabian’s ‘Bless This Acid House’ in his iconic voice.

After being handed the lyrics to the ‘For Crying Out Loud’ track, Blessed put a spoken-word twist on the track as he delivered it in the gusto-filled style of a Shakespearean veteran.
