The rapper dropped by unannounced on the first day of the festival

The rapper, who made her debut at the Californian festival last year, was not scheduled to perform at the event.
Fans at DJ Snake’s set at the Outdoor Theatre were treated to the unannounced arrival of Cardi as she joined the DJ, Selena Gomez, and Ozuna for a performance of their collaboration ‘Taki Taki’.
Cardi posted a photo of herself, Gomez, and DJ Snake to her Instagram stories afterward with the caption: “Coachella and I love them.” You can watch footage of her performance below.
Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of the rapper’s debut album, ‘Invasion Of Privacy’. Speaking at the 2019 Spark Party in West Hollywood yesterday, she confirmed her plans to release its follow-up this year.
“I’m starting to prepare myself now because I’m really trying to put out an album for this year,” she said. “My last album, ‘Invasion of Privacy’, it just went three times platinum, so now it’s just like, ‘Aw snap.’ It’s big pressure on me. It’s like ‘Aw snap, what the hell am I going to come up with?’”
