Watch Chance the Rapper appear in a new video about the upcoming US midterms

The video explains the process of voting in the upcoming midterms

Chance the Rapper has appeared in a new video which explains how to vote in the upcoming US midterm elections.

Chance appears in the clip with Steph Curry, which featured on HBO’s ‘Pod Save America’. Both made a cameo appearance in Akilah Hughs’ ‘Democracy or Else’ clip.

In the video, Chance admits that he hasn’t returned his ballot, something he is scolded for by Hughs:“Do you know how many people forget to mail their ballots back? A lot, Chance the Rapper. A lot, Steph the basketball guy…who I’m very happy switched from a goatee to a beard.”

Chance then remarks, “That’s a beard?” before a full “explainer” begins, detailing the process to US voters ahead of the midterms next week. You can watch the video here:

Recently, Chance endorsed Amara Enyia for the position of Chicago mayor, and joined her at a rally on October 23 after initially teasing that he would be running for the position himself.

Speaking about Enyia, Chance said: “I would like to say – very narcissistically – if I back you, you have a chance, absolutely…I want to work with somebody that’s about change. The one person, in my research of this wide-open race that’s views align with me, would obviously be candidate Amara Enyia.”

Enyia was also endorsed by Kanye West too, after he donated more than $70,000 to her campaign, paying off a previous campaign bill.

A statement on her website read: “The Amara Enyia campaign thanks Chicago native, Kanye West, for his generous action. Amara’s campaign is energizing people around the city with bold ideas and solutions that move Chicago forward. We are excited to engage people of all walks of life as we focus our efforts on getting on the ballot.”
