Watch Chris Rock introduce Kanye West’s new album at Wyoming listening party

Rock shared some powerful words about longtime friend Kanye

Footage from Kanye West’s new album listening party in Wyoming on Thursday night (May 31) have been surfacing including the full introductory speech from comedian Chris Rock.

Rock and West are longtime friends and notably have collaborated on West’s ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’. Rock introduced YE and spoke about talking to a local moose, poking fun at Wyoming’s desolate environment and then went on to list the huge amount of famous people in the crowd.

When speaking on Pusha T, Rock said: “Pusha takin’ bodies” referring to the ongoing beef beween Push and Drake.

The comedian then spoke of Kanye specifically, saying: “Rap music, hip-hop music, is the first art form created by free black men…and no black man has taken more advantage of his freedom than Kanye West”. Check out footage from the night below.

Kanye West has unveil his brand new album ‘YE‘ on streaming services. The eighth album from the Chicago rapper is a modest seven tracks long and full of coded lyrics that dig into the rapper’s recent and controversial public life.

Though it doesn’t appear on the album, Pusha T has claimed that a version of Kanye West‘s ‘Lift Yourself’ with actual lyrics exists.

Pusha has now indicated that Kanye’s new album could include a poop-free version of ‘Lift Yourself’. He told The Breakfast Club: “The ‘Lift Yourself’ beat is so fire, and I think that shows his level of confidence and arrogance.”
