Watch Cruz Beckham debut ‘If Everyday Was Christmas’ video

His dad insists his education comes before his pop career

Cruz Beckham has unveiled the video for his debut single ‘If Everyday Was Christmas’.

David Beckham’s son is joined by his older brothers Romeo and Brooklyn skatingboarding across London in the festive clip, which you can watch below.

Earlier this month, the 11-year-old launched an Instagram page containing clips of him singing and teasing ‘a surprise’ – as well as revealing that he was sharing Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepson’s manager, Scooter Braun. He later revealed a fully blown single.

All proceeds from the single will go to the charity Make Some Noise.

Meanwhile, Piers Morgan recently criticised the Beckhams, saying: “It’s the idea of pimping them (him) out on the Christmas pop single market.

“Sorry it is like that, it is.”

When accused of ‘trolling an 11-year-old’, Morgan said that he was only ‘trying to defend Cruz from his being pimped out by his fame-hungry parents’.

Cruz Beckham’s manager, Scooter Braun, soon responded to Morgan’s criticism, describing his client as “an 11 year old who wanted to make a song to help other kids.” He also called Morgan a “jackass” and a “hypocrite”.

Meanwhile, David Beckham has insisted Cruz’s pop career will always take a back seat to his education.

“We only realised that Cruz has a cute little voice about nine months ago and Scooter’s been a family friend for a while, so he said, ‘Bring him in, see if he enjoys it’,” he explained. “There’s nothing more to this (his singing career) than that (charity single) at the moment.

“He’s 11-years-old, he’s still at school, he’s concentrating at school, that’s the most important thing, but he wanted to give back, and he’s done this amazing little Christmas song which has got a lot of attention.”
