Watch Dave Grohl fall off stage at Foo Fighters’ first gig of the year

Not again...

Dave Grohl has fallen off stage again, with the moment captured by a fan at Foo Fighters‘ first gig of 2019.

The band were performing at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday (9 January) when Grohl stepped to the edge of the stage while playing a guitar solo.

In the footage below, one fan hands the frontman a can of beer, which he attempts to drink before falling from the stage.

Grohl has form in this department. In 2015, he fell off stage and broke his leg at a gig in Sweden.

It forced the band to cancel headlining Glastonbury Festival – the slot then being filled by Florence And The Machine. The Foos returned to play Worthy Farm in 2017.

In 2018 Grohl pranked fans on the band’s return to Sweden by pretending to fall off stage again.

As the band took to the stage, it appeared that Grohl had run across the platform and tumbled straight off the gangway. However, it emerged that it was thankfully a stuntman and lookalike and Grohl soon emerged beside drummer Taylor Hawkins.

Elsewhere on the Foos’ relentless tour dates, the 11-year-old son of drummer Taylor Hawkins recently joined his dad and Dave Grohl for a special live performance.

Oliver Shane Hawkins isn’t the first Foo Fighters kid to show off their musical talent. Grohl’s daughter Violet has performed with her father at a handful of galas and charity shows, as well as touring with the Foos as a backing singer this summer.
